Shannon Forrestall, MSPT, PRPC received her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Physical Therapy from Russell Sage College in Troy, New York in 1998. Shannon holds her Pelvic Rehabilitation Specialty Certification through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. This certification means she has completed many clinical hours, advanced course work and passed a comprehensive examination, testing all competencies related to pelvic health care.
Shannon has been fortunate to have been practicing Physical Therapy in the Willamette and Umpqua Valleys of Oregon since graduation. Most of her career as a PT has been focused in outpatient orthopedic private practice working with a variety of patients experiencing pelvic health needs.
Shannon is the founder and owner of Pelvic Wellness Center of Salem. She and her staff have a devoted practice to helping men, women, and children with a variety of urogenital and colorectal conditions as well as helping women during pregnancy and postpartum. Outside of the clinic, Shannon volunteers as the Northwest Regional Representative of the APTA’s Section on Women’s Health.
In her spare time, Shannon enjoys traveling near and far, pursuing outdoor activities in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, and making great memories with family, friends and her dogs.
